I’m quietly thrilled you’ve found your way here. My name is Till, and this website is a small window into what I’m building, the questions I keep returning to, and what I’m learning in between.
I studied business and data science, though my curiosity has never stayed neatly within either. I’m drawn to the places where technology, strategy and execution meet; where understanding something turns into doing something about it. I’m an optimist by nature, and “that’s just how it is” has never felt like a particularly satisfying answer. I’d rather question a limitation, try something and learn along the way, especially with thoughtful, ambitious people who find just as much energy in the attempt.
Studying business taught me how to scale, be efficient, ... , but that's not enough. I want a more direct connection between the work I do and the lives it could change.
That's why, right now, my energy goes into building Okno Labs, a med-tech company working toward replacing fragmented preventive health check-ups with one non-invasive retinal scan.
The name (“ohk-noh”) means window in Polish and reflects what we want to make possible: a window into the entire body and mind, through the eye. Our vision is a three-minute retinal scan that detects signs of any disease before symptoms appear.
One scan. The whole body and mind.
Having seen illness affect people close to me, I keep wondering what knowing earlier might have made possible and why we so often wait for something to go wrong before we start looking.
I want to do more than wish it were different. I firmly believe that, with the capabilities we have at hand today, now is the time to work toward that future.
Away from work, inspiration tends to find me in design, technology and nature, or in an unhurried conversation with family and friends.
Thank you for being here and taking a little time to get to know me. However, a website is a rather one-sided introduction. I’d love to hear a little about you, too.
WarmlyTill
